Skopje, 20 May 2023 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski extended Saturday a message of congratulations to all firefighters in the country on May 20 - Fire Fighting Day in North Macedonia.  

"With due respect and immense gratitude we take a moment to acknowledge your immense contribution to society, in the service of the community and the preservation of our peace, safety and security. In dealing with natural hazards, accidents and disasters, you risk your life every day, saving the lives of others and protecting the property of our citizens and our community, which we value immensely," PM Kovachevski says in his message. 

Expressing sincere and heartfelt congratulations on his behalf and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia in honor of May 20 - Fire Fighting Day in the country, Kovachevski called for solidarity and care for others to be an incentive for all future generations of firefighters.

"May your sense of solidarity and care for others be an incentive to all future generations of firefighters, who, like today's generations, will continue to be a symbol of sacrifice and willingness to lend a helping hand everywhere and to everyone," said Kovachevski congratulating Fire Fighting Day in North Macedonia.
