North Macedonia officials to participate in 8th Delphi Economic Forum in Greece

Athens, 21 April 2023 (MIA) – Over 900 speakers from 70 countries, including North Macedonia, will take part in the 8th edition of the Delphi Economic Forum in Greece, set to take place April 26-29 under the central theme "Paradigm Shifts", MIA's Athens correspondent reports. 

 

Delphi Forum founder and president Symeon Tsomokos presented at a press conference in Athens on Thursday the thematic segments on which discussions will focus, announcing some of the participants and noting that this year there will be a part of the forum dedicated to the Balkans. 

 

Confirmed speakers include the Presidents of Cyprus and Bulgaria, the Prime Ministers of Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Albania, the Austrian Chancellor, Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers from several countries, European Union officials, as well as Greek top officials. 

 

The Delphi Economic Forum is held under the auspices of Greece's President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, who will announce the opening of the forum on Wednesday, while the full agenda will be published in the coming days. 

 

 

The forum's main thematic segments include geopolitics and international security, climate and environment, sustainable economy and finance, social inclusiveness, and technological advancement and development.

 

Next Friday, day three of the forum will include a series of panel discussions focused on the region, tackling EU enlargement, the future of the Western Balkans, the Open Balkan initiative, cultural heritage in the process of integration in the Union, etc.
