Skopje, 18 May 2025 (MIA) – Speaking at VMRO-DPMNE Women's Union 20th annual conference at Skopje's City Park, Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said women were "the foundation of society" and "bearers of the fight, perseverance and change."
"Women throughout history have been the guiding engine, persevering throughout all storms and adversity," Mickoski said, adding that the number of women at the gathering showed that "this idea is still alive and the motivation higher than ever before."
Highlighting the key role of women in national and social processes, the VMRO-DPMNE leader expressed his deep respect of all women who had contributed to the country with their wisdom, resolve and enthusiasm.
"Macedonia has to succeed. These victories need to happen every day. Centimeter by centimeter, step by step, we need to keep fighting for our future," Mickoski said, adding that this fight needed to be fought by men and women together.
