Masked individuals kill one, injure another Macedonian national in Greece

Athens, 15 July 2023 (MIA) - A 39-year-old man was killed while a 45-year-old was injured, both from North Macedonia, after unknown masked individuals shot them at the accomodation they rented in the town of Hanioti in Greece's Halkidiki region, MIA reports from Athens citing police sources.
At about 3.30 a.m., the unknown individuals, wearing fullface masks, walked to the place where the two Macedonian nationals were staying and started to shoot from the outside.
The 39-year-old man was killed on the spot, while the 45-year-old was injured and was later transferred to a hospital in Polygyros.
The assailants fled the scene after the shooting. A police investigation is underway.
