Skopje, 23 March 2024 (MIA) – SDSM is holding on Saturday sessions of the Central and Executive Board, and later in the afternoon the party is set to hold a congress to decide on list principals and MP candidates for the coming parliamentary elections.

According to sources from SDSM, as reported by MIA, Dimitar Kovachevski heads the party's and coalition's list in the first election district, with Monika Zajkova from the LDP as the second candidate; Oliver Spasovski leads the second election district, followed by Fatmir Bytyqi; Sanja Lukarevska and Ljupcho Nikolovski are in the third election district; Venko Filipche and Jovana Trenchevska are in the fourth election district; Jovan Mitrevski and Bisera Kostadinovski are in the fifth election district and Slavjanka Petrovski leads the party’s list in the sixth election district followed by Agron Demiri.

During the 28th party congress, starting at 6 p.m., the final decision on list principals and MP candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections will be reached, and the program for the parliamentary elections will be presented to the delegates.

During the open session of the congress, the party leader, Dimitar Kovachevski, will deliver a speech, followed by the closed-door working session.

Prior to the meetings of the party's top bodies, Kovachevski reaffirmed to TV 24 today that it will be the winning list in the elections.
