Skopje, 24 May 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski will visit Dayton, Ohio starting Sunday to participate in the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Peace Accord, during the Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the visit is taking place at the invitation of Congressman Michael Turner, head of the US delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

While in Dayton, Minister Mucunski will participate in a panel discussion focused on promoting stability in the Western Balkans, as well as in the final plenary session that will close the event.

Minister Mucunski will join a working dinner with regional leaders and senior officials, focused on peace and stability in the Western Balkans. Discussions will cover regional progress, current challenges, and the need for renewed global attention on Balkan security and prosperity. Special emphasis will be placed on the significance of the Dayton Accord for peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
