Eight journalists and seven judges selected as members of Judicial Media Council
Skopje, 18 November 2022 (MIA) – The Management Board of the Judges Association of North Macedonia selected eight journalists, among which one from MIA, and seven judges to be members of the Judicial Media Council. According to the Association, the journalists selected to be members of the Judicial Media Council include Aleksandar Atanasov from MIA, Vasko Magleshov from Prizma.mk, Elena Ivanovska Mukoska – Telma TV, Zoran Janevski – Sitel TV, Ardit Ramadani – Alsat TV, Mihaela Dimovska – Kanal 5 TV, Mihajlo Donev – TV 24 and Samije Duraku – MTV2. The selected judges include Mirjana Lazarova Trajkovska – judge at the Supreme Court, Ivan Dzholev – President of the Skopje-based Criminal Court, Burim Sejdini – President of the Administrative Court, Gjorgji Andonov – President of the Shtip-based Criminal Court, Emilija Shopar Jovanova – judge at the Basic Civil Court, Jasmina Shishkovska Stojkovikj – judge at the Prilep-based Court and Betim Jahja – judge at the Tetovo-based Court. The Management Board of the Judges Association, in line with its duties selects members of the Judicial Media Council after previous consultations with the media companies on journalists who report about judiciary affairs and judges proposed by the President and the Management Board of the Association. ad/nn/
