Skopje, 22 July 2024 (MIA) - All legally binding documents have been incorporated in the Budget revision. All those documents that have not been signed are not part of the revision and we are making analyses on how to proceed in 2025, said Finance Minister Gordana Dimitroska Kochoska on Monday.
"This Budget revision aimed to close all open problems that could result in further Budget damages," Minister Dimitrieska Kochoska told reporters.
She added that additional costs and interests could arise if funds were not approved through the revision.
"In 2023, EUR 30 million were paid on the grounds of executive decisions, because previous ministers did not consider the Budget damages due to interests and court cases. The most common cases were violations of the Law on Labor Relations and lawsuits by employees. Furthermore, failure to observe collective agreements also resulted in many lawsuits," said the Finance Minister.
