Skopje, 26 April 2025 (MIA) - As of Saturday, national web-portal www.uslugi.gov.mk will provide two new services of the basic courts - Criminal Record Certificate for individuals and Criminal Record Certificate for legal entities.

These certificates complete the set of the most important digitized services for citizens, adding to the certificates from the birth records, citizenship, certicate of title and vehicle ownership.

Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski told today's press conference that the criminal record certificates are the most used services of basic courts.

"These are documents that are often required in people's daily lives - for employment, applications for public calls, education and other legal and administrative procedures," said Andonovski and added that citizens would no longer wait in queues at court windows or archive offices for these documents.

According to him, a new wave of e-services in the sectors of transport, energy, education and health will be made available to citizens in the coming months.

On the networking of institutions for digital inspection of the validity of licenses, Andonovski said the Ministry would develop a software for smart licenses and offer it to institutions once it is tested.

"Following the Kochani tragedy, we will develop this software and make it available to institutions. It will be easy to use and practically notify institutions when certain requirements are missing. For example, if you are required to have three employees in order to hold a license, the system will notify the proper institution once this number drops," said Andonovski.
