COVID-19: 56 new cases, 69 recoveries
Skopje, 7 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 56 new COVID-19 infections after 529 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 69 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
Of the new cases, 36 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Kumanovo – 4, Prilep – 3, Ohrid – 3, Bitola – 2, Kavadarci – 1, Veles – 1, Strumica – 1, Shtip – 1, Negotino – 1, Kratovo – 1, Krushevo – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
There are 432 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,173,215 tests, recording 343,319 COVID-19 cases and 333,343 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,544.
