Kochani, 4 May 2025 (MIA) - Over 300 cyclists, hobbyists, athletes and citizens participated in a bike tour in Kochani on Sunday held in honor of the victims of the deadly fire at the “Pulse” nightclub. The tour was organized by the families of the victims and the Municipality of Kochani.
Participants cycled a 15 km route and paid their respects to the victims by observing one minute of silence at the site of the fire.

“We are cycling together in honor of our children who died tragically while also recalling that on May 4, 1903, Goce Delchev laid his life for Macedonia to be free. Today, on May 4, 2025, Macedonia is a captured state, captured by an authority concentrated in one center of power. Without control or balance it brought to us the fiftieth day of pain, emptiness, weight and silence. Kochani mourns, we have collective trauma and sadness, there is no one who hasn’t been touched by the tragedy, and we are looking for ways to pay our respect to the victims,” parents of the victims said in their address at the event.
The parents of the victims vowed to not give up on their fight for answers over those responsible for the fire.

The organization of the tour was aided by volunteers from the Red Cross, members of the territorial firefighting unit and the voluntary firefighting department, as well as employees from the Kochani police station and general hospital.
