Skopje, 4 May 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told journalists Sunday he would most likely meet with Health Minister Arben Taravari on Monday to discuss his position in the Government and his potential cooperation with DUI at the local elections. The PM said he finds potential agreements between Taravari and DUI unacceptable.
“At the meeting, I want to hear clearly whether it is true that an agreement exists between Taravari’s party and DUI for DUI to not have candidates [for mayor] in at least five or six municipalities where Taravari’s party will run. This means DUI would be degrading itself as a political party and silently supporting him. For me, as Prime Minister, this is unacceptable,” Mickoski said in answer to a journalist’s.
Mickoski added that he maintains daily communication with Taravari as colleagues in the Government.
