Skopje, 4 May 2025 (MIA) - In a social media post Sunday, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski honored Macedonian revolutionary Goce Delchev on the 122nd anniversary of his death.

Mickoski wrote that Goce Delchev’s work and greatness live on, noting that the country was built by the self-sacrifice of heroes who laid down their lives for freedom.

“Macedonia isn’t just a country, but also our destiny, and it must be our future. It was built by the self-sacrifice of the heroes who gave everything for our freedom. One of the firmest foundations of this work is Goce Delchev whose life heroically ended 122 years ago, while his greatness and work live on,” Prime Minister Mickoski wrote in a post on his official Facebook profile.
