Skopje, 13 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 53 new COVID-19 infections after 657 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 36 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Thursday. Of the new cases, 39 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 4, Prilep – 3, Kumanovo – 2, Veles – 2, Tetovo – 1, Shtip – 1, and Negotino – 1. There are 317 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,175,576 tests, recording 343,515 COVID-19 cases and 333,647 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,551.
