Skopje, 12 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 28 new COVID-19 infections after 278 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 39 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. Of the new cases, 24 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Veles – 2, Kumanovo – 1 and Gevgelija – 1. There are 300 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,174,919 tests, recording 343,462 COVID-19 cases and 333,611 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,551.
