Youth and Sport Agency, Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sport sign cooperation memo
Skopje, 2 February 2023 (MIA) - Youth and Sport Agency director Naumche Mojsovski and Turkish Minister of Youth and Sport, Muharrem Kasapoğlu signed Thursday a memorandum of cooperation that is set to strengthen bilateral ties through enhancement of cooperation in the development of young people and sport upon the principles of mutual understanding and support.
"Our commitment and efforts to support young people and athletes have been recognized by regional states and beyond. Youth and athletes face the same or similar challenges everywhere, and that is why it is very important they are connected and in continued communication, for the purpose of developing and exchanging ideas and working on the same goals. We are continually investing in young people, and we will share experiences in the sectors of youth policy, youth counsellor, youth strategy development, youth centers and law on youth," said Mojsovski.
The memo will also ensure exchange of experience and knowledge on youth leadership, entrepreneurship, innovations and youth camps, as well as joint youth participation at courses, conferences and academic programmes, while supporting joint cultural activities.
"In terms of sport, we are sharing and exchanging experiences with regard to regulations, sport infrastructure, experience exchange on sport rehabilitation and launching more intensive cooperation between national federations in Olympic sports., then sport science, sport medicine and sport law, as well as facilitating the organization of joint seminars and conferences," noted Mojsovski.
