Skopje, 25 April 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova will attend Saturday the funeral of Pope Francis, presided by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, the dean of the Roman Catholic Church’s College of Cardinals.

Many world leaders - heads of state and government, members of royal families, church officials - and about 200,000 mourners are expected to attend the funeral mass at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.

Upon Pope Francis' wish, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major will be his last resting place.
