Skopje, 11 November 2021 (MIA) – Besa MP Kastriot Rexhepi joining the parliamentary majority is an option, but this is his personal decision, says Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi. “If you express willingness to join the majority, this cannot be excluded, and this is stipulated from a procedural standpoint, because the MP individually declares which group he will join – support the majority, be independent or in opposition,” Xhaferi told TV21. He says the Parliament session on the Government no-confidence vote must be closed, with or without the MPs’ attendance. “I have to formally wait until midnight,” says Xhaferi and adds it is possible that a new parliamentary majority is unveiled as soon as Friday.
