Skopje, 22 January 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, Sanja Bozhinovska met on Wednesday with the United States Ambassador, Angela Aggeler.

The discussion, part of the ongoing dialogues between the Ministry and the US Embassy, focused on strengthening cooperation in energy sector, particularly energy transition, energy effeciency improvements and support for renewable energy sources.

According to her office, Bozhinovska highlighted the importance of US support in tackling energy challenges during the meeting, stressing that the relationship between the two countries is based on solid foundations of partnership and mutual trust.

Ambassador Aggeler reaffirmed the US commitment to enhancing energy security and stability in the region, highlighting the willingness to support initiatives that foster sustainable development.

The meeting, as stated in the press release, concluded with an agreement to maintain regular communication to ensure the implementation of established priorities and further improve bilateral cooperation.
