Skopje, 28 March 2024 (MIA) – VMRO-DPMNE is set to officially endorse its lists of MP candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections at the sessions of the executive and central committee on Thursday evening, with the announcement expected to follow shortly thereafter.

List principals have already been unveiled. Hristijan Mickoski will be the list principal in the first election district, Vlado Misajlovski will head the list in the second election district, Dragan Kovachki in the third, Aleksandar Nikolovski in the fourth, Gjorgija Sajkoski in the fifth election district and Dafina Stojanovska will lead the list in the sixth election district.

According to MIA sources, the lists will include the highest number of current VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition MPs.

VMRO-DPMNE is expected to hold a convention on Sunday (March 31) to unveil MP candidates.

The election participants, namely political parties and coalitions, must submit their lists of parliamentary candidates to the State Election Commission no later than April 2, which is to confirm them. The first round of the presidential elections in North Macedonia is scheduled for April 24, while the second round will be held together with the parliamentary elections on May 8.
