Kasami says Taravari won't be part of Government, some AA members might stay in executive

Tetovo, 9 May 2025 (MIA) - Arben Taravari will not be part of the Government but some members of the Alliance of Albanians (AA) who disagree with him might stay in the executive, said Tetovo Mayor Bilal Kasami on Friday regarding the recent meeting of Vlen officials with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.

"We have decided to work in the coming period on removing Arben Taravari from the Government, because he promoted the idea for cooperation with DUI. We have agreed that all those cooperating with Ali Ahmeti cannot be part of the Government. If the Government is to undergo reforms, we'll have to see who goes out and who comes in, because we see that some Government members from the AA ranks do not agree with Taravari," said Kasami.

According to him, all those AA members who want to continue in the Government are welcome to do so.

"Therefore, this situation needs to be cleared up, to see who is for and who is against cooperation with DUI," noted Kasami, who is one of the Vlen leaders.
