Skopje, 30 January 2025 (MIA) - Ruling VMRO-DPMNE accepted Thursday the initiative of opposition parties SDSM and Levica for scheduling an oversight hearing in the Parliament over measures and activities to be undertaken towards improving the situation with air pollution in the country.

"We accept their joint initiative for an oversight hearing over the air quality. Both parties are also in coalition with Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska, one formally and the other informally. We are ready to discuss everything that has been done and not done in the field of ambient air in recent years," VMRO-DPMNE MP Toni Jarevski told a press conference.

He added that the discussion would be an opportunity for discussion on the Government's specific plans in the field of environment.
