Skopje, 12 June 2024 (MIA) — A number of Macedonian and international violinists will perform at the 10th Violin Fest that will take place at the Philharmonic Chamber Hall on Wednesday. 

According to organizers in a press release, this year's festival will offer performances that evoke memories of previous festivals as a tribute to all participants over the years.

Violin Fest was founded by Vladimir Kostov, Philharmonic concertmaster and full professor of violin at the Faculty of Music. 

Originally conceived to be a platform for showcasing young violinists' talents, the festival grew into an international event featuring accomplished violin players as well, organizers said. mr/
