Skopje, 28 April 2023 (MIA) — Representatives of the Bern Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats, the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands of International Importance, and UNESCO, who are currently touring the Ohrid and Struga region, had a working visit to the Galichica National Park.

At the meeting, as part of their mission to improve the protection of the Ohrid region, the experts stressed the need of implementing existing laws and aligning activities with legal provisions.

According to Galichica National Park staff, they presented the working version of the Special Plan for the Management of St. Naum 2021-30 and of the illegal constructions in the park's strictly protected zones. mr/
