Skopje, 14 December 2023 (MIA) - The system acted in a swift and efficient way and we have identified the perpetrators of this hideous crime, says Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski on the recent double murder of Vanja Gjorchevska and Panche Zhezhovski.

"The investigation could be expanded in order to get to the motives and all aspects related to the case," Minister Spasovski told Kanal 5.

He says Turkey has already sent the dactyloscopic data and they have been handed over to the Public Prosecutor's Office. The material for DNA analysis is also expected very soon.

Spasovski does not expect any problems in the extradition of prime suspect Ljupcho Palevski from Turkey and is certain of a speedy process.
