Skopje, 5 October 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski promised Saturday that all those who broke the law would be held accountable, while adding that high-level corruption cases require time.

"I understand the people are angry and expect a lot when it comes to responsibility. I promise accountability within the law. The MoI will process all those against who there is sufficient evidence, especially the ones who stole from the people," Toshkovski told reporters.

According to him, the ministry is doing everything to efficiently complete these procedures.

"Nevertheless, crimes related to high-level corruption and epic robbery require time. We will proceed with caution and professionalism, using evidence and facts, while respecting the rights of all those involved. This is the only way to bring the country back to normal," said Toshkovski.
