Spasovski: Pride in being part of family of most powerful military and political alliance
Skopje, 11 February 2023 (MIA) - Republic of North Macedonia turned from consumer to exporter of security. This is a big turnaround. This is an achievement worthy of the investment by all prior generations of citizens who were part of this process. This is an achievement worthy of all future generations and our investment in the future of our country, says Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski.
"The NATO membership is very important for us. I am happy to see that the moment when we see the importance of the NATO accession has come earlier. Russia's aggression in Ukraine impacts security in the region, also stimulated by political aspects," Minister Spasovski wrote in a Facebook post.
Three years from the Parliament's ratification of the North Macedonia NATO Accession Protocol, he added, we should be proud of being part of the family of the most powerful military and political alliance, a synonym of highest democratic values.
