Spasovski and Gašić sign protocol on conducting joint controls at Lojane-Miratovac border crossing point

Skopje, 22 February 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski and his Serbian counterpart Bratislav Gašić signed Wednesday the protocol on the manner of conducting border checks at the joint Lojane-Miratovac border crossing point.

“Even though, the Macedonian and Serbian border services have been cooperating traditionally for a long time, with this protocol we will contribute to a more detailed system of the way of conducting border checks at this joint border crossing,” Spasovski wrote in a Facebook post.

Spasovski thanked his counterpart Gašić for the warm welcome and hospitality, which is, as he wrote on Facebook, an excellent indicator of the progress of mutual cooperation between our Ministries and of friendly good-neighbourly relations and partnership, which also contribute to advancing bilateral cooperation.
