Skopje, 21 August 2023 (MIA) — Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski met Monday with Snezhana Trajanovska, the newly elected director of the Migration Asylum Refugee Regional Initiative Regional Centre, according to an official press release.

At the meeting, Spasovski and Trajanovska confirmed the long-standing successful cooperation between the institutions and expressed their readiness to continue cooperating, the release says.

Minister Spasovski expressed his satisfaction that the country, through the MARRI Regional Center, has grown into "a real contact point for the Western Balkans." Wishing her success in her new position and jointly implemented projects, Spasovski told Trajanovska the interior ministry would continue supporting the center.

Trajanovska expressed her gratitude to the minister for his continuous support and briefed Spasovski on current and future MARRI activities. mr/
