Skopje, 27 January 2024 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski extended Saturday greetings to the members of the Serbian community in the Republic of North Macedonia on occasion of Saint Sava Day.
“Allow me, in the name of the Macedonian citizens, to extend my greetings over January 27 – National Day of the Serbians in the Republic of North Macedonia and wish you peace and joy. This important holiday is dedicated to the great Serbian spiritualist and educator, St. Sava, who serves as an inspiration to generations of Serbs to nurture their identity, language, culture, and to create permanent values. As a constitutionally recognized and valuable community, the Serbian community contributes to the creation and development of our joint fatherland, and to the nurturing of coexistence in the multiethnic and multilinguistic Macedonian society,” said the President.
