Skopje, 30 April 2024 (MIA) - Presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski met with Arachinovo municipality residents on Tuesday, his communications team said in a press release. 

Pendarovski said he has shown in his current term that he is a President who does not divide citizens on any basis and that he will continue so in the next term as well.

"I have never been nor I am running to be the President of the Macedonians only. I will be everyone's President, as I was everyone's voice regardless of ethnicity and any affiliation. The promotion and representation of all citizens of Macedonia will remain a priority in the next five years," Pendarovski said, as cited in the press release. 

Pendarovski noted that he expects great support on May 8 for the country to continue to move forward as a democratic, multi-ethnic, progressive country of equal citizens.

"Number 1 is the only guarantee that Macedonia will continue on the right track towards the EU, all else is blowing political smoke and attempts to return to the times of tensions, divisions and uncertainty. Macedonia has no other option but to continue the EU accession negotiations until we become part of the big European family. Let's all vote together for European Macedonia on May 8, that is guaranteed only by choosing number 1," Pendarovski pointed out.
