Skopje, 9 October 2023 (MIA) – To avoid potential delays caused by an upgrade to the airport’s baggage handling system, passengers travelling from Skopje International Airport any time between Oct. 9 and Nov. 30 are advised to arrive at the airport three hours before their flights.

According to Skopje International Airport operator TAV Macedonia in a press release, as of Oct. 9, travellers should be at the airport well before their flight's estimated time of departure, allowing for longer check-in procedures.

The upgrade of the baggage handling system will take two months, TAV Macedonia said. mr/
