Skopje, 5 December 2023 (MIA) - On occasion of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence, the OSCE Mission to Skopje is organizing Tuesday a high-level roundtable including representatives of institutions and civil society organizations (CSOs) active in the field of prevention and protection from gender-based violence.

The event will discuss ways to strengthen the multi-sectoral response necessary to reinforce the fight against gender-based violence in North Macedonia. In that regard, it is of paramount importance that institutions and civil society work together with a victim-centered approach, the OSCE Mission said in a press release.

First Lady Elizabeta Gjorgievska, Head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje, Ambassador Kilian Wahl, Minister of Labour and Social Policy Jovana Trenchevska, Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski, and Ambassador of Sweden Ami Larsson Jain are scheduled to address the event.
