One firefighter injured as Ohis fire is put under control
Skopje, 5 August 2021 (MIA) – A fire that broke out near Ohis plant in Skopje has been put under control, Zvonko Tomeski, deputy commander of the Skopje Fire Brigade, confirmed to MIA.
It is yet not known what has caused the fire, but investigation has been launched, he said.
“Firefighters at the moment are fully extinguishing the fire as what caused it is yet unknown. Law enforcement is on the site to investigate what has caused it,” said Tomeski.
One firefighter was injured while battling the blazes after inhaling smoke, he said adding that more information is pending about his health condition after being taken to hospital.
