North Macedonia investment potentials to be presented in Frankfurt

Frankfurt, 5 September 2023 (MIA) - North Macedonia investment potentials and benefits in technological-industrial development zones will be presented before representatives of over 20 German companies in Frankfurt on Tuesday.

Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi, Free Zones Authority Director Jovan Despotovski, and Delegation of German Industry and Commerce (AHK) in North Macedonia manager Antje Wandelt will address the roundtable organized by the network of German chambers of commerce.

Bytyqi and Despotovski will also hold meetings with the managements of world-renowned German companies.

On Monday, they signed an agreement with German battery manufacturer and innovation leader for high-tech battery systems BMZ, which is set to invest EUR 64.9 million in technological-industrial development zone Skopje 2 and create 775 new jobs.

Over 200 German companies are operating on the Macedonian market, providing 20,000 jobs.
