New Ambassador to Bulgaria hands over credentials at MFA
Sofia, 28 September 2022 (MIA) – Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova received Wednesday the credentials of the new Ambassador of North Macedonia to the country, Agnesa Rusi Popovska, MIA reports from Sofia. Deputy FM Petrova expressed satisfaction from the fact that North Macedonia has an ambassador to Bulgaria after a lengthy period, hoping it will contribute to the enhancement of goodneighborly relations. Petrova also referred to Bulgaria’s support to North Macedonia’s European integration, noting the importance of investing consistent efforts in the restoration of trust and building sincere and positive atmosphere through bilateral dialogue. Ambassador Rusi Popovska thanked the host country for its swift response regarding the meeting and highlighted the opening of a new page in the Skopje-Sofia relations. Interlocutors agreed that joint progress in the political field will result in tangible results in bilateral cooperation.
