Skopje, 21 August 2024 (MIA) - Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani and Turkish Ambassador Fatih Ulusoy affirmed the traditionally firm and friendly relations with the Republic of Türkiye at a meeting Wednesday, the Ministry of European Affairs said in a press release.

At the meeting, according to the Ministry, interlocutors highlighted the excellent bilateral cooperation realized through the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).  

TIKA, according to the Ministry, has a broad range of activities and provides continued assistance in the socio-economic development of the country through the numerous realized projects in the areas of education, healthcare, administrative and social infrastructure, transport and agriculture.

“Interlocutors reaffirmed their readiness to enhance the cooperation, strengthening the firm basis of mutual respect that defines relations between North Macedonia and Türkiye,” the Ministry said.
