Mickoski urges Kumanovo supporters to vote for change
Kumanovo, 3 October 2021 (MIA) – People with plan and vision will be elected on October 17, who will bring changes and work on projects to create a new future, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said speaking Sunday at a rally in Kumanovo, where the actor Toni Mihajlovski is running for mayor of the city. VMRO-DPMNE, he noted, offers nationwide more than 14,800 projects for the citizens, including newly asphalted streets, kindergartens, schools, environmental investments, gasification, parks, etc. In Kumanovo, Mickoski accused his political rival Zoran Zaev of “wasting EUR 16 billion of taxpayers’ money in 52 months.” He also accused the government of failing to attract the investments it had promised and to record an economic growth of 5% to 7%. “To win is to create, to work and to move forward. To win is to have the same goals and the goal is Macedonia to join the EU, children to live their European dream and to have quality education,” he told supporters in Kumanovo urging them to vote for Mihajlovski. Mayoral candidate Mihajlovski called on his supporters to make changes. “I want to do it with you, with your support,” he said. Mentioning the projects he would implement if he got elected to run Kumanovo, Mihajlovski said he will complete road infrastructure in the city, a total of 60 kilometers, construct multistorey car parks, bicycle lanes, roundabouts, etc. “My priority is also to make Kumanovo a clean city with households and businesses provided with free gas connection,” Mihajlovski said. The VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition on Sunday also held rallies to present its local election program in the Skopje municipalities of Karposh and Kisela Voda.
