Mickoski: Looking into documents from whistleblowers over abuses at Oncology Clinic in 2023

Lozovo, 31 October 2023 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said the party is looking into claims from whistleblowers it received a few days ago regarding abuses at the Oncology Clinic in 2023.

During a visit to the Municipality of Lozovo on Tuesday, Mickoski said details will be released soon.

He noted that the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on the Oncology Clinic case has brought to the surface "cataclysmic and shocking information".

"I must say that we receive a lot of testimonies and documents through whistleblowers. We received such a case, quite thoroughly and clearly documented, a few days ago. We are now investigating and analyzing it. It concerns the present, not the past, because the Inquiry Committee covers the period until 2021. I'm talking about now in 2023, and if it confirms to be true, then I really have to say that we're dealing with monsters, not humans," said Mickoski.

According to him, "despite the scandal with therapies for oncology patients, they continue with abuses of inhumane proportions".

"We plan to go public with this, if what the whistleblower submitted confirms to be true. And we intend to give the prosecution some serious work to do, because we see that the investigation in the Ministry of Interior is being calculated, they are going back and forth. So, we intend to take matters into our own hands and go all the way," Mickoski said.

Asked if he could give any details about the new case related to the Oncology Clinic, Mickoski said the information is still being looked into, and it is a matter of hours or days when he will personally present the details to the public.
