Kovachevski-Recean: United Europe to ensure safe and stable future

Skopje, 1 June 2023 (MIA) - Bilateral cooperation, Euro-integration and security challenges in Europe were in the focus of the meeting of Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski with Moldovan counterpart Dorin Recean at the sidelines of the Second European Political Community Summit in Chisinau on Thursday.
PM Kovachevski said North Macedonia and Moldova share the same foreign policy priority - EU membership - and congratulated colleague Recean over the country's recently obtained EU candidate status, the Government said in a press release.
Interlocutors highlighted the significance of the Euro-integration process in strengthening peace, stability and prosperity of the European continent. PM Recean said North Macedonia deserves its place in the EU, noting the Moldova is using its experiences in the aspect of visa liberalization with the Union.
