Shtip, 23 February 2022 (MIA) – Japanese Ambassador Hironori Sawada, Shtip Mayor Ivan Jordanov and Shtip Hospital Director Alen Georgiev signed Wednesday a memorandum for donation of 55,000-euro mobile x-ray machine for the Shtip clinic, which serves as regional hospital for the inhabitants in southeastern North Macedonia. This is Japan’s sixth donation for the Municipality of Shtip and second for the hospital, said the Ambassador. According to him, the hospital will get a fully functional x-ray machine to provide quick and precise diagnosis without having the patients to be moved from ward to ward. Japan has already donated two ambulance vehicles to the main hospital in Shtip. So far, Japan has provided over eight million euros to the country for projects in multiple spheres.
