Skopje, 24 June 2024 (MIA) - Izet Mexhiti has assumed the post of Minister of Environment and Physical Planning from outgoing Minister Kaja Shukova.

Shukova briefed Mexhiti on all ongoing processes and challenges with the environment and wished him success in the post.

Minister Mexhiti said that an absolute priority of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning in the future will be proposing and implementing policies for the improvement of the environment and citizens' quality of life, and that with this challenge the Government will stand together with citizens and the civil sector on any initiatives for the common good. ssh/ik/
