Health authorities to decide if kindergartens will start working at full capacity in September, says Labor Minister Shahpaska
Skopje, 19 July 2021 (MIA) – It remains to be decided whether kindergartens will start working at full capacity in September. We’ll respect the position of health authorities, the Commission for Infectious Diseases, which has been closely monitoring the epidemiological situation, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jagoda Shahpaska said on Monday evening.
Nonetheless, she remains optimistic and told TV Sitel that she expects a calm fall.
According to Shahpaska, kindergartens have successfully managed the pandemic.
“Kindergartens have successfully handled the pandemic through systematic approach, regular monitoring and respect for protocols. I’m optimistic, there’s no reason for kindergartens not to start working at full capacity, having in mind the fact that most of the employees have been fully vaccinated,” she underlined.
The Minister stressed that children’s and the health of all citizens remains top priority.
