Skopje, 30 May 2025 (MIA) - Industrial production in April 2025 rose by 1.4 percent compared to the same month in 2024, whereas in the January-April 2025 period it rose by 1.8 percent compared to the same period in 2024, said the State Statistical Office on Friday.

The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in April 2025, in comparison with April 2024, decreased by 1.2%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 2.5%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 18.3%.

The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in April 2025, in comparison with April 2024, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 15.2%, but lower in Energy by 16.2%, Capital goods by 6.0%, Durable consumer goods by 0.2% and Non-durable consumer goods by 2.1%.
