Skopje, 26 December 2023 (MIA) - The Government at its session on Tuesday approved the draft National Strategy for the Development of Culture with an Action Plan for the 2023-2027 period. In addition, the Government decided to forward it to the Parliament. 

"The draft National Strategy for the Development of Culture with an Acion Plan for the 2023-2027 period, proposed by the Ministry of Culture, is a strategic document that sets medium-term goals and priorities for the development of culture in the Republic of North Macedonia. It is a basic strategic document for the field of culture, both for the work of the Ministry of Culture and for other entities that operate in the field of culture," the Government said in a press release. 

According to the Government, the document states a dominant impression that the institutional culture, compared to the past, is more open, more competitive and aimed at becoming an active and recognizable participant in the regional, European and world culture, and in that direction priorities have been set in the document until 2027.
