Georgievski calls on citizens to vote for the person they think will do best for the city
Skopje, 12 October 2021 (MIA) – All floating voters will rule the outcome for the two major political parties in these elections. I hope that all those who haven’t voted for years will make the majority that goes to the polls. I hope it will be those who are simply fed up, as all these years these two political parties have made people feel hopeless, Levica-backed independent candidate for Skopje mayor, Petar Georgievski Kamikaza, told a rally in Skopje on Tuesday. He urged citizens to vote on October 17 for the person they think will do the best for the city. Speaking at the rally Georgievski said in his experience of over 25 years working on campaigns, he hadn’t seen such “dirty campaign.” “Vote for me if you want to, or vote for Shilegov, or Beni Shaqiri, or vote for Danela if you want to. Vote for whoever you want to vote for. Vote for the one you think will do the best for the city. We do not use such dirty tricks, but it is the citizens who will simply decide on October 17 who they will vote for,” said Kamikaza. Levica leader Dimitar Apasiev pointed out that as a political party, they have set new standards in politics, introduced a whole variety of values, being the only party whose holders of lists include not only doctors but also PhDs, as well as students, lawyers, musicians, managers, economists, athletes, farmers, taxi drivers, teachers, textile workers, etc. He pointed out that in these elections they expect to win more than 60 councilors at state level.
