Skopje, 7 November 2022 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani has received the credentials of new United States Ambassador to North Macedonia, Angela Price Aggeler, expressing belief she would contribute to further enhancement of bilateral ties and cooperation. Interlocutors welcomed the development of bilateral relations that are based on traditional friendship and shared democratic values. FM Osmani highlighted the initial results of the Strategic Dialogue as a new chapter in bilateral ties and an upgrade of the strategic partnership, as well as the commitment to defining the future activities that aim to further stimulate reform processes and the country’s democratic development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release. FM Osmani thanked Ambassador Aggeler over U.S. continued support to North Macedonia’s Euro-integration process as a significant investment in regional stability and progress. Osmani and Aggeler also referred to the countries’ cooperation as NATO allies, Russia’s aggression in Ukraine and North Macedonia’s OSCE Chairmanship in 2023, reads the press release.
