Skopje, 31 March 2024 (MIA) - The General Council of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) confirmed on Sunday the list principles for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for May 8. 

Blerim Bexheti will be the list principal in the first election district, Sadula Duraku will head the list in the second election district, Suleyman Baki in the third, Enver Husein in the fourth, Ziadin Sela in the fifth, and Ali Ahmeti in the sixth.

Constitutional amendments, European integration, good neighborliness, uncompromising fight against organized crime and corruption, economic framework agreement, etc., are the pillars on which the joint program of the 'European Front' coalition will be based, DUI said in a press release. 

According to the press release, DUI leader Ahmeti briefed members of the party's General Assembly on the establishment of the 'European Front' and the coalition's joint program for European integration and preventing Russian influences in the country and the region.

In addition, DUI's General Assembly unanimously backed the formation of the 'European Front', as well as the presidential candidate Bujar Osmani.  

"The General Assembly of the Democratic Union for Integration calls on all DUI members and all citizens to support the 'European Front' and the presidential candidate Bujar Osmani," the press release adds.
