Draft-negotiating framework arrives in Parliament, session not yet scheduled

Skopje, 7 July 2022 (MIA) – The draft-negotiating framework has been delivered in the Parliament, the materials will be forwarded to lawmakers and a session has not been scheduled yet, the Parliament said on Thursday.
The Parliament says the public will be timely informed on further procedures within the institution.
Considering ongoing speculations, the Parliament says that a session will not take place this evening.
It adds that the public will be informed once Speaker Talat Xhaferi schedules the session.
Earlier, the Government said it reviewed a report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs over the draft-negotiating framework for the Republic of North Macedonia with the EU, represented by the French Presidency.
The Government decided to forward the draft-negotiating framework to the Parliament, which is set to adopt conclusions in compliance with the parliamentary procedures.
Protests against the draft-negotiating framework will take place in front of the Government for the fifth day running.
