Skopje, 22 August 2025 (MIA) - The average monthly net wage paid per employee in June 2025 was Mden 45,468, an increase of 8.4% compared to the same month in 2024, the State Statistical Office said Friday.

According to the State Statistical Office, this increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Education 14.7%, Human health and social work activities 12.7% and Mining and quarrying 12.2%.

A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Financial and insurance activities 7.5%, Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles 4.3% and Transportation and storage 2.1%.

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in June 2025 was Mden 68,340.
